Terry Summa
Terry Summa was the Director of Bands at Foothill College for over twenty years. Prior to that time, he taught at San Rafael High School for eight years and Oceana High School for two years. Since his retirement from Foothill College, Mr. Summa has been active as a clinician and adjudicator throughout the Western States.
Recent awards include Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Jose Jazz Society, Outstanding Service Recognition from the Cazadero Music Camp, and he was inducted into the Californian Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in March of 2008.
