James Jorgenson

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Jorgenson was one of the first promoters of big band jazz on college campuses as well as an adjudicator and clinician at festivals throughout the southwest. He hosted the Kenton and Akioshi Bands in residence at the University of Redlands presenting clinics and concerts. His jazz groups and wind ensembles championed many new works in the music industry.
